Fitso is your personal fitness, running and weight loss coach on your mobile.
At Fitso, we provide personal coaches to help you achieve your fitness goal be it weight loss, weight gain, training for marathon or building muscle. Fitso coaches will provide nutritionally balanced diet plan, and daily workout plan keeping in mind your current lifestyle and fitness level. They will also make sure that you are eating regularly,on-time, exercising adequately, and following a healthier lifestyle.

+How does your coaching work?

It starts with a welcome consultation call from your assigned expert dietician & weight loss trainer, during which they take your diet and exercise recall, and probe your habit and medical history. Accordingly, a detailed,personalized weekly Diet Plan and monthly Fitness plan is created, which is instantly available to the you through the App.
There are primarily two modes of communication and it works the same way just like you converse with a friend:
First, for small queries or guidance, there is Fitso chat. Your coaches reply instantly to answer your queries, offer alternate diet and fitness options if you're traveling or vacationing, and keep reminding you of what needs to be done next .
Second, if you have something to discuss in detail, you can ask the trainer to call you. There will be at least one weekly audio or video calls to discuss the plan for the next week and your performance in the previous week. Your coaches keep track of your exercise habits and behavior to help speed up your metabolism. Our coaches are certified professionals who are equipped to deal with medical conditions and are happy to work with your medical practitioners to support your treatment protocol.

+How effective is Fitso coaching?

Fitso is effective for primarily three critical factors - flexibility, access to best coaches, and constant motivation. First, what we offer is no match for any offline running program because there is no requirement of your physical presence at gym or clinic, as required in offline program, a big reason for dropout. Second, we have India’s best coaches who helps you offer the best guidance to help you achieve you goal. Access to right guidance is extremely critical, and is a huge issue in offline setting, where you have to believe the certificates the trainer claims on the face value. +Do you sell or recommend supplement or equipment?

At Fitso, we don’t recommend any supplements or medications.
If you have equipments or access to such facility, then the workouts plans might require these equipments use, otherwise, trainers will provide you body-weight workouts such as push up, crunches, burpees and plank, which works in the same way.
In case of body-building, since you need more protein everyday and it's difficult to eat that much protein without intaking other macros, hence whey protein may be recommended. Apart from this, only natural diet will be provided which is customized as per your taste and cuisine preference.

+How will the Fitso trainers ensure that I am properly working out?

Your trainers are not just normal instructors, but are certified instructors who understand why you aren’t getting result. You have workout videos in which you can see the correct posture. Additionally, the instructors provide you with proper warm-up to minimize the risk of injury. Finally, based on your feedback, the instructors change the intensity and style of workout for more effective results.. However, if you face any issues, just speak the instructor, he will be happy to resolve it.

+How do I report an issue with the Fitso trainer or the Fitso app?

Although our trainers go through a strict training process, there are times when it might not work for you. No worries, we are here to help in that case. Just let us know by providing a feedback through app. You can see the ‘send feedback’ option in the settings of Fitso app.
There may be a possibility that app might not be working as per your requirement. We advise you to read the “Steps to begin” that we email you as in when you opt for the plan.
We would like to inform that each issue raised will be reverted within 24 Hrs and resolved within 48 Hrs, unless its a long-standing bug in which case we will resolve it as soon as possible, and will keep you posted..

+Does Fitso Coaching deliver results?

Yes, we have helped more than 3000 users so far in achieving their goals, and we do have a lot of testimonials. But before that, we want to point out one important thing. +How long does it take to learn swimming in Fitso SEALs?

While it depends on your ability to grasp and how determined you are, on an average, adults learn in 15-20 hours or sessions. We have some users who have learned in just 3 sessions. The delay is only when you take more time to get comfortable with water.

+I am afraid of water. Can I still learn swimming and get over my fear?

Being nervous or afraid is not unusual for Adults. We find many of our pupils have had a frightening experience in the past. We understand your fears and will work with you to build confidence and get you comfortable in waters. Patience and perseverance are required, and you will get there before you know it.

+Is there any age restriction to learn swimming?

You’re never too old to learn swimming. The only thing stopping you is your anxiety outside the pool. Kids learn it faster. Learning to swim as you get older may take some more time. With the right training, fighting attitude and focussed guidance, you can learn it at any point of time.

+I can swim but I need to improve my technique and breathing. Can you help me?

Yes. There is no problem. We will analyse your stroke and work to help you swim easier with greater stamina and endurance. Our under-water video analysis feature is designed to help us and yourself understand the bottlenecks.

+I am training for triathlon but my swimming is letting me down. Can you help me achieve my goals?

Yes. No problem. Our team has a number of triathletes to help you out. We train people for triathlon and help them achieve their best with expert guidance. Your swimming needs to be in sync with your cycling and running and we understand it perfectly.

+What do I need to bring for my swimming lessons?

You are required to have your own swim gear, which includes your swimming trunk/suit cap and goggles for the first lesson. Your swimming instructor may advise you further after the first lesson.

+If I'm not able to attend a particular lesson, will there be any make up?

There will be no make up for the class. However we do have a provision to provide leaves if informed about it one week prior to your leave. Any other terms and conditions will be duly informed to you while purchasing the plan.

+Can I lose weight or tone my body through swimming?

Yes, swimming works on your entire body. But, yes you may need proper nutrition to assist you with your goal. You can take help of our nutritionists and get your plan upgraded.

+How many members are there in a one group?

Group size may vary according to the instructor’s preferences. We ensure that sessions are. These sessions provide not only you a free experience but also a recreational activities with fellow swimmers. The group will normally be kept at 8 to 10 students.

+Are your swimming instructors certified and proficient in handling adults?

Our swimming instructors who conduct swimming lessons are fully qualified with the relevant certifications. You can check the profiles on our website. Apart from this, lifeguards are also available at the pool.

+Is there any trial class available?

Yes, we have a one day trial class available. You can register for the trial class on the webpage.

+Do you guarantee results?

We have conducted training sessions for more than 500 people. The success rate is 100%. It’s just a matter of time.

Triathlon / Ironman

+What are triathlon distances?

Triathlon constitutes of swim, cycle and run back to back.

Following are the most popular Triathlon distances:
Ironman: 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, 26.2-mile run

  • Half Ironman: 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, 13.1-mile run
  • Olympic Distance: 1500 meter (.93 mile) swim, 40k (24.8 miles) bike, 10k (6.2 miles) run
  • Sprint Distance: usually about one-half of an Olympic Distance race

+Do you really think I can finish a triathlon?

Answer is YES. The chances are pretty good that you could finish a triathlon. With the right guidance and approach, you can finish your first triathlon race within 3 months time period.

+What triathlon distance is right for me?

In our view, it really depends on your comfort in the water. You can probably ride or run (or walk) the distance in longer events but can't put yourself in the water for a longer distance than you can handle.
If you’re just starting out, you may want to consider a super sprint distance, with roughly a 375-meter swim (equal to about 13 lengths in a pool) in shallow water with 10 km cycle and 3 km run.

+Swimming is my weakest section, Running and Cycling I can do.

Swimming is considered as a life-saving skill but not taken well as a popular sport and thus it is the weakest section of most of the athletes in India.
To improve swimming we arrange Video Analysis session under the supervision of our coaches so that you can rectify your technical errors and set small goals every week to achieve them.

+I have a busy schedule, How many hours do I need to invest in a day?

It totally depends on your Fitness level and the type of triathlon you are interested in competing. If you are a Marathon Runner than 7-10 hours a week with proper guidance is enough to finish the Half Iron distance.

+How can I dedicate the time to train for a Triathlon when I have a demanding job and a family?

It requires time management skills, but it can definitely be done. Athletes aged 35-44 make up a large percentage of age group entrants at most Triathlon events, which means plenty of competitors are at the peak of their careers and often have robust family lives with their demanding job.

+Is there any age limitation for the Triathlon event.

Age is just a number, not a limitation. You can compete even if you are 50+ the only thing you need is desire to compete.

+How do I figure out what to eat and drink during training and in racing? Do I need to change my overall diet?

Unlike with many other sports, triathlons require strategic fueling and hydration. (You can’t just load your body with calories and hope they’ll sustain you over the whole race or training session.
You have to figure out how many calories you’re burning per hour, and how many calories you have to replace (as well as ratios of carbs, protein, sugar and fat). This is where working with a coach or nutritionist can come in handy.

+I am already a Triathlete but I want to improve my personal Best.

+I have never run before but I want to take up running. How can this program help me?

You will be assigned a coach who is a beginner expert in getting people from couch to 5k. Your coach would be guiding you on one-on- one basis and will take you gradually to a level where you can very easily run 5 km without getting tired and without any injury. Then you can take it to the higher level from there on. Rest assured with Fitso you are under the best guidance.

+I already run. Why should I take a coach?

  • You are already putting your time and efforts but you may not be getting the desired results. If you train under an experienced coach you will get 10X results for your same time and efforts.
  • Your coach would be giving you a task on daily basis. Sometimes we tend to avoid workouts in morning but if you train under a coach he will make sure you complete your workout. You will be held accountable. He will encourage you to push your limits.
  • We do video analysis of your running posture in our on-ground sessions which will help you understand your weaknesses and then we make you do drills to remove those weak points and strengthen your body to run strong and injury free.

+I am already training with a group. Why should I join this program?

Training with a group is good and always fun but may not enhance your performance as everyone has their own pace of running. But if you train with a coach you will get workout according to your current running and fitness level. You still can do warm-up and cool-down with your group members and finish your specific workout (like Tempo Run, Interval training etc.) given by your coach to enhance your performance.

+How is Fitso different from Adidas, Reebok, Nike and Asics training sessions?

We understand that every runner has their own specific pace and fitness level. So first thing we do is assign you a Personal coach who will analyse you and then educate you about your own body parameters like your cadence, stride length, lactic threshold etc. and thus give you specific workouts that will help you improve your stamina and speed.
Apart from that, we give 8 highly energetic on-ground group sessions and 1 video analysis session every month. Fitso’s motto is simple- We deliver results to our trainees.

+How will you train online?

We have developed a unique technology to connect Coaches with Runners through our mobile app Fitso. It works as follows- Firstly, you will be assigned a personal coach. Your coach will then analyse your background, current running level and time commitment and based on that will design your workout plan and deliver it on Fitso app in your phone. You can do this workout at any time during the day or night and it would be tracked on the Fitso app. Your Coach can see the data tracked and can give his/her feedback based on that. Thus you will always stay motivated and excited about your progress and will grow to become a better runner with every workout.

    This is what is known as “Plateau” in normal language. Your body is smart. The natural tendency of body is to store calories in case of emergency. It adapts to any new change and hence moulds itself in a way to burn less calories. Hence you need to confuse your body. You need to change your workouts, increase and decrease the intensity and take proper rests in between to see the desired results. Same applies to your diet. You need to take it as per the changing workouts. Different food affects differently to everyone and hence the trainers will change the plan accordingly if something is not working out for you.

    Although our trainers go through a strict training process, there are times when it might not work for you. No worries, we are here to help in that case. Just let us know by providing a feedback through app. You can see the ‘send feedback’ option in the settings of Fitso app.
    There may be a possibility that app might not be working as per your requirement. We advise you to read the “Steps to begin” that we email you as in when you opt for the plan.
    We would like to inform that each issue raised will be reverted within 24 Hrs and resolved within 48 Hrs, unless its a long-standing bug in which case we will resolve it as soon as possible, and will keep you posted..
