+What is Fitso?

Fitso is your personal fitness, running & weight loss coach on your mobile!
At Fitso we provide personal coaches to help you achieve your fitness goal be it weight loss, weight gain, training for marathon or building muscle. Fitso coaches will provide nutritionally balanced diet plan and daily workout plan keeping in mind your current lifestyle and fitness level. They will also make sure that you are eating regularly and on-time, exercising adequately, following a healthier lifestyle. Your search for expert guidance for achieving your fitness goal ends here.

+How does Fitso Plan work?

It starts with a welcome consultation call by your assigned Expert Dietician & Weight Loss Trainer, during which your diet and exercise recall and habits are recorded, your medical history considered and your preferences noted. Accordingly, a detailed and handmade weekly Diet Plan and monthly Fitness plan is created which is instantly available to the user through the App. There are primarily two modes of communication and it works the same way just like you converse with a friend.
For small queries/issues or guidance you have Fitso chat. Your coaches are available to chat with you instantly to answer your queries, offer alternate diet and fitness options if you're traveling or vacationing and keep reminding you of what needs to be done next to lose weight in a healthy manner.
If you have something to discuss in detail, you can ask the trainer to call you up. There will be minimum one weekly audio/video calls to discuss your plan for the next week and your performance in the previous week. Your coaches keep track of your exercise habits and behavior to help speed up your metabolism. Our coaches are certified professionals who are equipped to deal with medical conditions and are happy to work with your medical practitioners to support your treatment protocol.

+How effective is Fitso?

People usually think that offline trainer will help them do workout. No, they motivate you and push you. But if you are self motivated and determined for your goal, all you need is guidance and proper ways to achieve it. Our trainers motivate you through regular calls and follow-up, they provide you customized workout with guidance to do it. Same goes for the diet. You meet a dietitian at her clinic, you pay on hourly basis and she gives you plan for the week. All you did was talking. So yes, the effectiveness of the plan depends on you. You can leave everything to us, the only thing you need to do is follow the plan dedicatedly.

+Do I need any supplements or equipments?

At Fitso we do not recommend any supplements or medications unless you want to.
If you have any equipments or have access to such facility, then the workouts will incorporate these otherwise trainers will provide you body-weight workouts (Eg - Push up, crunches, burpees, plank etc) which works in the same way with a little more difficulty.
In case of body-building, since you need more protein everyday and in reality its very difficult to eat that much protein without in-taking other macros, hence whey protein may be recommended. Apart from this only natural diet will be provided which is customized as per your taste and cuisine preference.

+I am doing regular exercises but still there is no change in weight?

This is what is known as “Plateau” in normal language. Your body is smart. The natural tendency of body is to store calories in case of emergency. It adapts to any new change and hence moulds itself in a way to burn less calories. Hence you need to confuse your body. You need to change your workouts, increase and decrease the intensity and take proper rests in between to see the desired results. Same applies to your diet. You need to take it as per the changing workouts. Different food affects differently to everyone and hence the trainers will change the plan accordingly if something is not working out for you.

+How will the trainers ensure that I am doing the workout properly?

Your trainers are not just normal instructors, they are certified to know what you are doing, they have experience to understand why the results are not coming. You have workout videos in which you can see the correct posture. This is one thing. Secondly, the trainers provide you with proper warm-up to minimize the risk of injury. Lastly it’s your job to provide proper feedback so that trainer can know where exactly are you lacking and hence can change the intensity and style of workout accordingly. Still if you face any issues, tell your trainer directly he will help you with the remedies as well.

+How much can I lose in one month?

The healthy bracket for weight loss or weight gain comes around 3-5 Kgs per month. However, different people have different metabolism, hence they lose weight differently. Losing more weight than this is not advised as it may cause swollen eyes, dull skin, weakness and you may gain weight again coming back to regular lifestyle. Our plan is completely natural without any supplements or medications.

+How is online coaching better than diet clinics or Gyms?

It's quite easy, flexibility in terms of location and time, cheaper and more interaction on daily basis. Both nutritionist and the fitness coach makes a plan for you which is made available to you on the app. Workout is provided in the form of a video which is a compilation of specific exercises which the trainer chose for you with the reps, duration and optimum rest.
Nutrition plan is made after taking down the complete history of the user and is given on the app. It is segmented between various meals of the day like breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, pre-workout meal etc. It is given 7 days in advance so that you can arrange stuff and get alternatives to things you don’t like.
If you have access to gym, great, if you don’t, no worries. We provide both gym workouts and body-weight workouts for you. Both are equally effective for you. Trainers provide the guidance, the means to achieve is on you. You want to use your own body as weight or you want to use equipments. You can also buy a few weights, bench and do workouts at home.

+How do I report an issue with the trainer or the app?

Although our trainers go through a strict training process to serve you as you like. But there are times when it might just not work for you. No worries, we are here for you to help in that case. Just let us know by giving a feedback from your app. You can see the ‘send feedback’ option in the settings of your phone.
There may be a possibility that app might not be working as per your requirement. We advise you to read the “Steps to begin” you will receive in your mail as soon you opt.
Each issue raised will be reverted to within 24 Hrs and resolved within 48 Hrs unless its a long-reaching bug in which case we will resolve it as soon as possible keeping you updated all the while.
