1. Drink plenty of water – mainly plain water, you may add lemon or mint though as per taste
2. Cut down on all whites like Pasta, White Bread, White Rice, Noodles, Potato
3. Don’t underestimate the importance of physical workout
4. Sleep well, at least 7-8 hours of sleep
5. Cut down on indulgences like Chocolates, Sweets, Soft Drinks and Peanuts
6. Have small but frequent meals
7. Dinner should be light and be consumed at least 3 hours before sleep
8. Avoid fried fatty foods, salted snacks and processed foods
9. Have a high fibre diet, plenty of fruits & vegetables
